The table above lists every Smashdle puzzle HintSheet has recorded, newest first, one row per date, with each mode's fighter for both regions.

Below is what the record shows when you count it. Across the 40 days from September 2 to October 11, 2026 on HintSheet, the archive covers 41 puzzle numbers (#1092 to #1132), 123 answer slots and 75 different fighters.

Smashdle resets at 00:00 UTC, and each entry carries a publish time of 00:00 UTC on its date, so a new row appears at the reset.

Three modes in the record

Each archive entry carries three answers per region: Classic, Emoji and Kirby. The Smashdle guide also describes a Final Smash mode, but the entries listed here record only those three, so every count on this page covers Classic, Emoji and Kirby.

The # column is the Europe puzzle number. On 24 of the 40 dates both regions showed the same number and identical fighters; on the other 16, America was one number ahead. No number in the archive ever carries two different sets of answers, so searching the page for the number you played is the reliable lookup. #1100, #1123, #1130 and #1132 appear only on the America side, #1092 only on the Europe side.

A worked lookup: the October 5 row lists #1126 for both regions, with Inkling (Classic), Falco (Emoji) and Ryu (Kirby). The October 6 row repeats #1126 for Europe, while America moves on to #1127: Donkey Kong, Ness and Captain Falcon. On October 7, Europe reaches #1127 and America #1128. The same puzzle can sit under two dates, which is why the number is the safer search. Europe's number stood still on consecutive dates three times in the window and skipped one number three times.

Because the summary column names every answer, you can check a single mode without opening the day page. Read only the Kirby entry, for example, if that's the one you missed.

Smashdle by the numbers: September 2 to October 11

No mode reused a fighter within the window; each mode's 41 answers were 41 different fighters. Reuse happened across modes, and in this game it was common: 43 of the 75 fighters answered more than one mode.

Read the totals the other way round and they're just as useful. With 75 fighters across 123 slots, a typical fighter in this window answered 1.6 times. Only 32 fighters appeared exactly once. In other words, 43 of the 75 fighters, 57%, answered more than once in six weeks, so a fighter you're trying to place on a Kirby or Emoji day may well already be somewhere in this list.

To check, search the page for a name. Every date it answered shows up in the summary column with the mode next to it, so one search tells you whether a fighter was a recent Classic, Emoji or Kirby answer.

HintSheet Smashdle archive, #1092–#1132. Of 75 fighters: 32 in one mode, 38 in two, 5 in all three.

Five fighters in all three modes

These five were the answer in Classic, Emoji and Kirby at different points in the window.

Two of them returned within days. Sephiroth was the Emoji answer on #1103 and the Classic answer on #1106, three puzzles later. Pac-Man went from Kirby on #1109 to Emoji on #1112. The others were spread across most of the window: Yoshi's three appearances span 36 puzzles, from #1096 to #1132.

No fighter appeared more than three times, which is the ceiling with three modes and no within-mode repeats.

  • Pac-Man — Classic #1096, Kirby #1109, Emoji #1112.
  • Peach — Classic #1108, Emoji #1114, Kirby #1124.
  • R.O.B. — Classic #1094, Emoji #1100, Kirby #1123.
  • Sephiroth — Emoji #1103, Classic #1106, Kirby #1121.
  • Yoshi — Emoji #1096, Kirby #1116, Classic #1132.

Emoji and Kirby shared the most

Pairing the modes up, Emoji and Kirby had 20 fighters in common, Classic and Emoji 19, and Classic and Kirby 14. Emoji was the mode most tied to the others: 34 of its 41 answers also answered Classic or Kirby somewhere in the window.

Returns were spread out rather than bunched. Across 48 returns, the median gap was 10.5 puzzles and the longest 30. Only five came within three puzzles: Mewtwo (Classic #1093, Emoji #1094), Snake (Emoji #1097, Kirby #1099), Pac-Man (Kirby #1109, Emoji #1112), Pit (Classic #1101, Kirby #1104) and Sephiroth (Emoji #1103, Classic #1106).

Unlike LoLdle or Narutodle on this site, Smashdle's later puzzles were mostly new names: of the 63 answer slots in #1112 to #1132, only 18 went to fighters already seen in #1092 to #1111.

For a player, the Emoji–Kirby link is the one to remember. Both are recognition modes: Emoji reveals one emoji per miss, Kirby shows the fighter's copy-ability hat. A fighter you met recently in one of them was a reasonable candidate for the other in this window, more so than a recent Classic answer.

Practice with past fighters

Classic gives attribute feedback on the fighter's series, debut Smash game, weight class, fighter number, gender and species, with an arrow on fighter number pointing toward the answer. Run past Classic answers against your opener: which way would the number arrow point, and would series come back green or red? The guide's advice is a middle-numbered, medium-weight opener from a series with several fighters; the archive is how you test it on real answers instead of guessing.

The archive is also a natural place to rehearse the Echo-fighter trap. Our window includes five of the Echo fighters the guide names, Chrom, Daisy, Dark Pit, Ken and Richter, each sharing most attributes with a base fighter. Looking up the days they answered, and the base fighter each one mirrors, is a cheap way to learn the near-all-green board before it costs you a streak.

For Kirby, where the clue is Kirby wearing the fighter's copy ability, the 75 fighters here make a study list. Because 29 of the 41 Kirby answers also answered another mode, you'll often have already met the fighter as an emoji string or a Classic row. Today's answers are on Smashdle answers today.

A practical weekly habit: take the last seven Classic fighters from the list and, without looking anything up, predict what your opener would have shown on series, debut game and fighter number. If the number arrow keeps pointing the same way, your opener sits at the edge of the roster numbering rather than the middle. Classic didn't repeat a fighter once in these 41 puzzles, so the exercise is about method, not memorizing answers.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the archive show three modes when the guide mentions four?

The entries recorded here carry Classic, Emoji and Kirby answers. Final Smash isn't part of the archived data, so this page's counts cover the three modes listed.

What time does a new Smashdle entry appear?

At 00:00 UTC, the reset. Every entry in the archive has that publish time on its date.

What does the # column show?

The Europe puzzle number. America's answers are in the same row's summary.

Were Europe and America different every day?

No. In this window they matched on 24 of 40 dates; on the other 16, America was one puzzle number ahead.

How do I find a puzzle by number?

Search the page for it. Every number from #1092 to #1132 appears at least once, and none appears with two different sets of answers.

Did any fighter repeat within one mode?

No. Classic, Emoji and Kirby each used 41 different fighters across the 41 puzzles.

Which fighters appeared in every mode?

Pac-Man, Peach, R.O.B., Sephiroth and Yoshi.

How many different fighters are in the archive?

75, from 123 answer slots between September 2 and October 11, 2026.

How close together can a fighter come back?

One puzzle apart at the closest: Mewtwo was Classic on #1093 and Emoji on #1094. The median gap between appearances was 10.5 puzzles.

Which mode overlaps most with the others?

Emoji. Of its 41 answers, 34 also answered Classic or Kirby in the window.

Does clicking a date spoil the other modes?

The day's page shows the full solution for every mode, so open it only when you're ready to see all of them. The summary column in the list already names each answer.
