How today's puzzle plays

Green locks an attribute; yellow means partial overlap — treat it as a hint, not a miss.

Attributes eliminate faster than names — think in categories, not favourites.

New to the game? The Narutodle guide explains every mode and how the colour feedback works.

All four modes for both regions are at the top — Classic, Jutsu, Eye and Quote — listed by mode and region with the puzzle number.

The rest of the page is the standing guide to Narutodle: what each mode shows, how the Classic feedback narrows a roster of 105 characters, and how to use the answer table without spoiling more than you want.

The modes

Narutodle, at narutodle.net, is the Naruto guesser in the Wordle family, and its four daily modes reward different things:

  • Classic — guess a character; the game colours seven columns (Gender, Affiliations, Jutsu Types, Kekkei Genkai, Nature Types, Attributes, Debut Arc) green, orange or red, with an arrow on Debut Arc.
  • Jutsu — an anime GIF of a jutsu, blurred at first and unblurring a bit with each try; name the character who performs it.
  • Eye — a character's eye, very zoomed in; each try zooms out a bit.
  • Quote — a line from the manga or anime with the speaker hidden; the recipient is revealed after five tries and the story arc after eight.

Classic: narrowing a 105-character roster

The roster in narutodle.net's client lists 105 characters (read 11 October 2026), so the Classic columns can narrow it quickly when you read them in the right order. Affiliations is the strongest first filter because it is lopsided: 60 characters list Konoha, and a red on a Konoha guess leaves the smaller villages and organisations. Attributes is the second: 61 characters have None, so the small labels — Tailed Beast (3 characters), Mercenary Ninja (3), Medical-nin and Summon (7 each) — are nearly decisive when they match. Nature Types and Jutsu Types are multi-value columns that mostly return orange; use them to separate the last few candidates. Debut Arc is the only column with an arrow, and it compares chapter numbers.

A route that the data supports: open with a single-affiliation Konoha character with two natures and no attributes — Shikamaru Nara and Asuma Sarutobi are among the most informative openers in the roster — then change every red column, keep every green one, and follow the Debut Arc arrow. If it still will not fall, the client unlocks a vital-status clue (Alive, Deceased or Unknown) after six guesses and an occupation clue after nine.

Using the table without the name

The table at the top lists each mode's answer by region — Classic (Europe), Jutsu (Europe) and so on, then the same for America — with no attribute values, so the only thing it reveals is the name. If you want a nudge rather than the answer, cover the Answer column and use the puzzle number to check you are looking at the right puzzle, then go back to the game. The Narutodle hub explains the seven Classic columns and works a real puzzle through from the client's own values, and the archive lists every answer recorded since 2 September 2026.

Regions and sources

Narutodle's Time zone setting offers Europe (midnight at UTC+2) and America (midnight at UTC−6). Both regions play the same numbered puzzles; America reaches each number first, so for part of each day it is one puzzle ahead. In our 40 daily files from 2 September to 11 October 2026 the two regions showed the same number on 24 dates and America one ahead on the other 16, and every number that appeared in both regions had the same four answers. Each region's row records what that region was serving when our fetcher last read the game's public data file that day, and the scripts that do it are described on the editorial policy page. Sister games with daily pages in the same format: Pokedle, LoLdle, Smashdle, OnePiecedle, Dotadle; the Dle games hub compares them.

Jutsu, Quote and Eye

Jutsu mode shows a jutsu as an animated GIF taken from the anime and asks which character performs it. The image starts blurred and each try unblurs it a little; the mode also offers Display colors, Max blur and Grey filter settings for players who want it harder. There is no text clue, so this is a recognition test of the animation itself.

Quote gives a line with the speaker hidden, from the manga or the anime. After five tries the client shows who the line was said to (or marks it an inner thought), and after eight it names the story arc. Eye shows a character's eye very zoomed in and zooms out a bit with each try. Only 6 of the 41 Eye answers in our files (#853–#893) had a Dôjutsu, so most Eye days cannot be solved by spotting a Sharingan or Byakugan.

A worked Classic

Gaara was the Classic answer for puzzle #859. Opening with Shikamaru Nara gives Gender green (both male), Affiliations red (Konoha against Suna), Jutsu Types orange (Ninjutsu is shared, but Gaara also has Taijutsu), Kekkei Genkai red (None against Nature Transformation), Nature Types orange (Earth is shared), Attributes red (None against Jinchūriki) and Debut Arc green (both debut in the Chūnin Exams, chapters 34 and 35). That row already rules out every Konoha character, every character without a Kekkei Genkai and every character without an attribute label. A second guess from Suna settles the Affiliations column, and the Jinchūriki label points straight at the answer. The hub works the same puzzle from a Kakashi Hatake opener and counts how many roster characters remain after each guess.

In classic mode, simply type in the name of a character and it will reveal its properties.— Narutodle help screen, narutodle.net (read 11 October 2026)

Nature Types as a filter

Each roster character has one or more of five natures or None: Water (53 characters), Fire (51), Wind (42), Earth (41), Lightning (35), None (27). The column is green only for an identical set, orange when the sets share at least one nature, red when they share none. Seventeen characters have all five, so guessing one turns the column orange for almost every answer. A red on a two- or three-nature guess is the useful result: it removes every character holding any of them. The client's patch notes say natures were updated to count anime and special-episode appearances.

The archive as a study guide

The archive is the best study material because it shows which characters the game has actually picked. In our files from 2 September to 11 October 2026, the 41 Classic answers were 41 different characters; 25 of them listed Konoha, and 13 debuted in the Chūnin Exams arc. Across all four modes, 86 different characters appeared in 164 answer slots, and the most frequent — Yugito Nii, Naruto Uzumaki, Shikamaru Nara, Haku and Minato Namikaze — each appeared four times, always in different modes. Six weeks is a small sample, so use it to learn the roster rather than to predict tomorrow.

Reading the table

The table lists names only, so there is no partial reveal to stop at: reading a row means reading the answer. For the three recognition modes that is all the help a table can give; the hub's column guide and the archive are the preparation. The sister games on this site follow the same layout, and the Dle games hub is the place to see how their Classic columns differ.

The roster itself can change. The client carries patch notes, and one records that Nature Types were revised to include the anime and special episodes; when the developer updates the data, a character's colours can change against the same guess. The figures on this page were read from the client on 11 October 2026 and will be rechecked when the game's data changes.

Frequently asked questions

When does Narutodle reset?

At midnight in the region you choose in the game's Time zone setting: UTC+2 for Europe, UTC−6 for America. The countdown on this page is HintSheet's fetch schedule, not the game's own timer.

Why is my answer different?

You are probably in the other region, or the regions are on different puzzle numbers at that hour. Match the puzzle number the game shows to the number in the table.

Do the modes share an answer?

No. Each mode has its own character; in our files no character answered two modes on the same puzzle number.

Does Classic include minor characters?

The pool is the 105 characters in the client's roster, which includes figures such as Teuchi and Fukasaku as well as the main cast.

What do the arrows mean?

Only Debut Arc has one: it points toward the answer's debut, comparing chapter numbers, when the two characters debut in different arcs.

Is Eye mode guessable without knowing the art?

Rarely. Only 6 of the 41 Eye answers in our files had a Dôjutsu, so most days need recognition of an ordinary eye.

Is the puzzle the same for everyone in a region?

Yes. The game's public data file holds one answer per mode for each region, and the two regions share the same numbered sequence.
