Dle games are the family of fan-made daily guessing games that grew out of Wordle's success — Pokedle for Pokémon, LoLdle for League of Legends, Smashdle for Super Smash Bros., Narutodle, OnePiecedle, Dotadle and dozens more. Each picks one character (or item, or card) per day and asks you to identify it from feedback on your guesses: not letters, but *attributes*. Guess a Pokémon and the game tells you whether the mystery one shares its type, generation, height, weight, colour and so on. Most have several modes — a classic attribute mode, a silhouette or image mode, a quote or description mode — each with its own daily answer.
HintSheet publishes the day's answer for every mode of six dle games, updated at each game's own reset (they differ — some roll at midnight UTC, some at 6 AM UTC, some in the player's local time). The cards above are today's; the guides below explain each game's modes, feedback rules and the guessing strategy that gets you there in three or four attempts rather than eight.
A note on scope: this site covers *answers and strategy*. It does not host playable versions of any of these games. If you want to play, every guide links to the game's own site.

How attribute feedback works
Every classic-mode dle uses the same feedback grammar. After a guess, each attribute column turns green (exact match), red (no match) or, for attributes with an order — generation, height, weight, release year — yellow with an arrow (partial match, and the arrow points toward the answer's value: ↑ means the answer is higher). Some games add an orange "partial" state for attributes that can hold several values, like a Pokémon with two types.
The arrows are what make dle games solvable in few guesses. Two guesses with arrows on the generation column bracket the answer's generation; a third guess in that bracket with a different type usually narrows to a handful of candidates.
A first guess that actually helps
New players guess their favourite character. Strong players guess the character that *splits the roster best*: middle generation, common type, average height and weight, so that every arrow carries information. For Pokedle that's a mid-generation, single-type, medium-sized Pokémon; for LoLdle it's a mid-era champion of an ordinary class from a well-populated region. The guides for each game name concrete openers.
The second guess should change every attribute you got red on and keep every attribute you got green on. That's the whole method. Players who chase one green column at a time take twice as many guesses.
Why some dle games have two answers a day
Every game in this hub — Pokedle, LoLdle, Smashdle, Narutodle, OnePiecedle and Dotadle — comes from one developer and runs two independent daily puzzles, labelled Europe and America, assigned by your locale. They are different answers with different puzzle numbers, which is why answer sites that list a single answer are wrong for half their readers. HintSheet's answer pages list both, labelled by region, for every mode.
Where the answers come from
Each game's daily answer is read from the game itself at its reset and published here with the attributes the game uses for feedback (type, generation, region and so on), so you can see *why* the answer was the answer. Several of these games are maintained by a single developer and share infrastructure; when one changes its format the others tend to follow, and the guides are updated when that happens.
Because these are fan games with no official backing, they occasionally go offline for a day or change modes without notice. When a mode is missing from an answer page, that's why — the page says so rather than guessing.
The dle family beyond these six
There are dle games for almost every franchise with a big enough roster: Genshin, Valorant, Marvel, Star Wars, cars, countries, flags, movies. HintSheet covers the six with the most daily searchers and adds games when the demand is there. If a game you play isn't here, the contact page is the place to ask.
Reader questions about Dle games
"Are these official?" No — fan-made, unaffiliated with the franchises.
"Why did the modes change?" The developer adds and retires modes; the guides here are updated when it happens.
"Can I play yesterday's?" Some of the games offer a previous-day mode; the answer pages here list every day either way.
"Which region am I in?" The game's settings show it. HintSheet lists both regions on every answer page.
Recognition modes, and how to get better at them
Classic modes reward method; the picture and text modes reward exposure. There's no trick, but there is a shortcut: the answer pages. Reading a week of Silhouette answers with the Pokémon named teaches body shapes faster than playing does, because you see the answer every time rather than one time in four. The same goes for Splash crops, Kirby hats and Devil Fruits. If a mode frustrates you, spend five minutes on the archive and it stops.
The Quote and Laugh modes are the exception: they're memory of text, and the only way in is having read or watched the source. On those, the answer page is the honest tool.
Glossary
Terms used across the six guides.
- Classic — the attribute-feedback mode every game has.
- Arrow column — an ordered attribute (generation, year, bounty) whose feedback includes ↑/↓.
- Partial — a yellow on a multi-valued column: one value shared.
- Region — the Europe/America split each game runs; different puzzles, different numbers.
- Reset — when the day's puzzle changes; 00:00 UTC for all but Pokedle (06:00 UTC).
A worked Classic game across two of the games
To show the method is the same everywhere: Pokedle Europe #1055 (Dragonite) fell in four guesses by opening on a mid-generation Pokémon, reading the generation arrow, then the type-slot yellow, then the height and weight arrows — the walk-through is on the Pokedle guide. LoLdle Europe #1518 (Cassiopeia) fell in three by opening on a 2013 human female, reading the year arrow, then a species partial — the LoLdle guide narrates it, including the misread cell that cost a guess. Different rosters, identical reasoning: ordered column first, change every red, keep every green.
The number of guesses is also a fair measure of a game's difficulty. Across the six games the median with this method runs from three (LoLdle, Dotadle — small rosters) to four (Pokedle, Smashdle) to four or five (Narutodle, OnePiecedle — large casts with many clanless or bounty-less characters).
Where these games came from
LoLdle appeared in early 2022, months after Wordle's success, from a French developer who then built Pokedle, Dotadle and the rest on the same engine — which is why they share the two-region structure, the reset times and the look. The 'dle' suffix became the genre's name, and hundreds of imitators followed for other franchises. The six here are the original family's most-played members. They are fan projects with no official licence, supported by advertising, and they occasionally go offline or change modes; that's the reason for the notes on each guide about what to expect when a mode disappears.
Reader questions, second round
"Do the games have unlimited modes?" Some do; HintSheet covers only the daily puzzles.
"Which game should I start with?" Whichever franchise you know best — recognition modes reward familiarity — and LoLdle or Dotadle for the cleanest Classic logic.
"How do I know which region I'm in?" The game's settings; the answer page lists both regardless.
Why answer pages list attributes, not just names
Every Classic-mode answer on HintSheet comes with the attributes the game used — type, generation, region, bounty, whatever that game's columns are — because the name alone doesn't explain the feedback you saw. If your third guess returned a yellow on species and you can't see why, the attribute row on the answer page shows the answer's species values and the overlap becomes obvious. Over a few weeks that habit — reading the answer's attributes, not just its name — is what turns a seven-guess player into a four-guess one. The recognition modes list the name and, where the game provides it, the clue that was shown: the flavor text, the quote, the emoji string.
Timing your visit
Pokedle rolls at 06:00 UTC; everything else in this hub at 00:00 UTC. HintSheet's Dle pages update within a few minutes of each reset, after the cross-check. If you arrive in the minute after midnight UTC and see yesterday's answer, that's the check running; reload shortly. The date and puzzle numbers on the page are the reliable indicator of which day you're looking at, and the archive keeps every previous day if you've missed one.

Frequently asked questions
What is a dle game?
A daily guessing game modelled on Wordle where you identify a character or item from attribute feedback — type, generation, region and so on — rather than letters.
When do dle games reset?
It varies by game. Most reset at midnight UTC; Pokedle resets at 6 AM UTC. Each guide states its game's time.
Why are there two answers for each dle game?
Every game in this hub runs separate Europe and America puzzles each day, assigned by locale, with different answers and consecutive puzzle numbers. HintSheet lists both, labelled.
Does HintSheet host the games?
No. It publishes answers and strategy and links to each game's own site to play.
Which dle game is hardest?
Silhouette and card modes are hardest because they give no attribute feedback — you either recognise the image or you don't. Classic modes are solvable by logic.
